Constanze Eichler

Constanze Eichler holds an MA degree in Middle East Studies and German as a Foreign Language from the University of Leipzig. She is about to complete an MA in International Education Management from a joint Masters program between Helwan University/Cairo and the Ludwigsburg University of Education.

She is currently affiliated to a research project at Potsdam University that aims to implement Diversity and Multilingualism as core elements of the curriculum for teacher education.

Before joining Bard College Berlin, Eichler worked for 6 years as a DAAD lecturer at several universities in Turkey, thus enlarging her research focus to global education policy and its implementation in different countries.

Her interests cover curriculum-design in transcultural contexts, comparative education studies, and the role of minority languages in the German education system.
