Agata Lisiak and Michael Weinman at “Nation and State Conference” (Bard NY)

Faculty members Agata Lisiak and Michael Weinman will speak at the “Nation and State Conference” organized by the Center for Civic Engagement, Bard College in cooperation with the Andrew Gagarin Center for Human Rights and Civil Society, St. Petersburg State University, and held in New York City on February 2-4, 2017.

Lisiak will give a presentation on In/visibility, Diversity, and Difference in European Cities in a panel on “Nationalism in Europe” (February 2nd), while Weinman will speak on Reassessing Arendt on Nationality, Nationalism, and Human Rights Protections in the frame of a panel on “Theoretical Issues in Nationalism” (February 3rd).
