April 25: Presentation by Christie's Education

On Wednesday, April 25, Bard College Berlin will welcome Laura Harris and Giovanni Gasparini from Christie's Education for a presentation of the Art, Law and Business degree programme. Through lectures, seminars, tutorials, visits and master classes with specialists as well as a guaranteed internship at Christie’s auction house, students acquire the practical skills and object-based learning required to develop an art world career.

Laura Harris is an artist, social influencer and specialist in art business education, recruiting students for the master’s programmes at Christie’s Education in London. She travels internationally to art fairs and universities, connecting with undergraduates and career changers, advising them on their pathways into the art industry. She regularly exhibits her paintings at various exhibitions in the UK and has had several book illustrations published.

Giovanni Gasparini created and directs the Master course in Art, Law and Business and teaches the Business units of the MSc. Before joining Christie’s Education he has been lecturer on the art market at Bocconi university in Milan and has run a consultancy business for collectors and artists, active both in trading privately and organizing public exhibitions.
