Young European Foundation Scholarship

Description

The Young European Foundation Scholarships are aimed at talented students from different regions of Europe:

Region 1Western EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, UK

Region 2: Scandinavia: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden

Region 3Countries that became members of the European Union between 2004 – 2008, are designated for accession, or are recognized candidate countries: Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey

Award amount:

Region 1: up to 50% tuition waiver; renewable for 4 years
Region 2: up to 50% tuition waiver; renewable for 4 years
Region 3: up to 90% tuition waiver; renewable for 4 years

Priority Deadline: January 1

Late Application Deadline: May 1


Criteria

Applicants for the Young European Foundation Scholarships must:

- Apply for admission to one of the BA programs as an entering first-year student

- Demonstrate a record of academic excellence and civic engagement

- Be a citizen of a country in one of the regions listed above

The tuition waivers are renewable for four years contingent on the recipients’ maintenance of a B average or better.
