Scholarship in Politics

Description

The Scholarship in Politics is intended to support students with an exceptional record of involvement and interest in politics, history, and/or social studies (e.g. through involvement in debate/Model United Nations clubs, student government, or civic engagement initiatives). Recipients of the Politics Scholarship usually intend to pursue a concentration in Politics, or Ethics and Politics within one of the B.A. programs.

Award amount: Up to a 50% tuition waiver; renewable for 4 years

Priority Application Deadline: January 1

Late Application Deadline: May 1


Criteria

Applicants for the Scholarship in Politics must

- Apply for admission to one of the B.A. programs

- Demonstrate an exceptional record of academic and extracurricular interest in politics, history, and/or social studies

- Intend to continue their study of these fields as part of their liberal arts education at Bard College Berlin

The partial tuition waiver is renewable for 4 years contingent on the recipientís maintenance of a B average or better.
